This Privacy Policy explains how TRIAD LTD, 70A Dramas Str., 18544 Piraeus, Greece (“TRIAD”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit triad-ltd.com or contact us through it. 2. What personal data we collect
- Contact form: your name, e-mail address, the subject and content of your message, and any other information you choose to include in it.
- Direct communication: the information you provide when you e-mail or call us using the contact details published on this website.
- Technical and security data: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access and pages requested. These are processed by our web server, our website security (firewall) system and Google reCAPTCHA in order to protect the website and the contact form from abuse and spam.
- Analytics data (only with your consent): if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the website (e.g. pages visited, approximate location, device type) in aggregated form.
We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, special categories of personal data through the website.
3. Why we process your data and on what legal basis
- To respond to your enquiry and communicate with you, including enquiries about our services and potential cooperation – on the basis of taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business communications (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam and abuse – on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and proper operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- To understand how the website is used (analytics) – only on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie settings of the website.
- To comply with legal obligations to which we are subject, where applicable (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
4. Who receives your data
We do not sell or rent your personal data. Your data may be accessed, only to the extent necessary, by service providers acting on our behalf and under our instructions:
- our website hosting and maintenance provider;
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365), our e-mail service provider, which receives the messages sent through the contact form;
- Google (Google reCAPTCHA for spam protection, Google Analytics subject to your consent, Google Maps for the embedded map on our contact page, and Google Fonts for the display of the website).
We may also disclose data to public authorities where required by law.
5. Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Some of the above providers (such as Google and Microsoft) may process data outside the EEA. In such cases, transfers take place on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified) or the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Cookies
The website uses cookies that are strictly necessary for its operation and security (including the storage of your cookie preferences and Google reCAPTCHA). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used only if you accept them through the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings available on the website. Embedded third-party content, such as Google Maps, may set its own cookies according to the provider’s policy.
7. How long we keep your data
- Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and thereafter for as long as required by applicable law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
- Security logs: for a limited period necessary for the security of the website, after which they are deleted.
- Analytics data: for the retention period configured in Google Analytics, in aggregated form.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to request its rectification or erasure, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before its withdrawal). We will respond without undue delay and in any case within one month, which may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into account the complexity and number of requests; in that case we will inform you within the first month.

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure or access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), a website firewall and restricted administrative access.
